UCAA校联会2013届选举结果

Dear Fellow Alumni Association Leaders:
I am pleased to report a very successful election of 2013 UCAA occurred in Sunnyvale on Jan 26th.  There were 29 attendees from 24 alumni members in UCAA and 23 votes were valid.  From 23 votes, both President and vice President candidates received all 23 “yes” votes to serve the organization.  All 18 UCAA EBOD candidates also received the full 23 “yes” votes  to become 2013 UCAA EBOD members.  This is a true reflection of united alumni association’s organization spirit and the intention to work together to make this organization stronger.  2012 UCAA President Chunman Yu and I hosted the voting program.  Education Consul Mr. Zhenwen Chen from Consulate General of PRC in San Francisco also witnessed the voting process.  During the meeting, Chunman Yu delivered speeches encouraging the new leadership team working together with every single organization member and making 2013 a productive and better year.  Mr. Chen was very happy to see the positive feedback and successful voting process from the organization.  Elected President Qiang Chen and VP Rong Zhang also spoke in the meeting.  They announced that the new leadership team, besides President and VP, will also include Youwen Yi 易幼文 as Secretary General and Hui Shen 沈卉 as Treasurer in 2013.  The new team promised to work closely with every single fellow member serving the Chinese community especially university alumni in Silicon Valley including reaching out to more young members and attracting them into the organization, actively participating annual events.
